Innovative and Integral Approach

EBP is providing support to the municipality of Delcevo in design, engineering, tendering, and executing new drinking water infrastructure that is both climate-resilient and energy-efficient, including the constraction of a water treatment facility and two well fields to serve 20,000 residents. The scope of services includes corporate development support for the water utility, public awareness raising, and facilitating training and knowledge exchange (covering the period from 2018 to 2024).

EBP supports this infrastructure project with designing, tendering, contracting, construction supervision, commissioning and putting into operation of the following components:

new water treatment plant (5200 m3/d)
solar power plant (250 kWp)
two groundwater well fields (4300 m3/d)
two pumping stations, two new water tanks (1000 m3)
rehabilitation of two water tanks (1100 m3)
extension of water supply network (15.3 km)

Goals Achieved 

With a substantial investment of CHF 8.5 million in this venture, funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economy (CHF 7.5) million and Ministry of Environment of North Macedonia MoEPP (CHF 1.5 million), EBP implements the infrastructure component as well as a corporate development programmeaimed at increasing the revenues, reducing non-revenue Water and thus strengthening the capacity of the public utility to sustainably operate and maintain the infrastructure.
